July 23rd
Sheriff Raissez responded to the 200 Block of FM 54 about a stolen White 2012 Ford F150 bearing Texas registration 1MA832. Also taken was a black twenty-foot car hauler front air dam. The complainant was unable to provide any registration for the trailer. This case is still under investigation.
July 29th
Deputy responded to a crash on US Highway 70 where vehicle collided with a deer. No injuries reported.
Aug, 5th
Deputy was dispatched to the 700 Block East Shurbet in the City of Lockney about an assault in progress. When Deputy arrived on scene the suspect, identified as Jamie McDonald, was attempting to flee in a Silver SUV. When the Deputy attempted to stop the fleeing suspect, he led the Deputy in a low speed pursuit that ended in the 400 block of Northeast 2nd Street. Once contact was made with McDonald he was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, evading arrest or detention, and assault family violence impeding airway.
Aug. 6th
Deputy was dispatched to FM 1065 where vehicle struck a deer. No injuries reported.
Aug. 7th
Deputy conducted a traffic stop on US Highway 70 that resulted in an arrest. Anna Lisa Charlene Delvalle 21, of Lubbock, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance- (Marijuana Oil).
Aug. 9th
Deputy conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of West Spruce Street in the City of Lockney. While the Deputy was out with the violator, he was informed that the vehicle he had just stopped had been reported stolen out of the City of Lubbock. Juan Carlos Sarinana 39, of Lockney, was arrested for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. The vehicle was impounded.
Aug,13th
Deputy was dispatched to a crash at the intersection of County Road 221 and County Road 342. The crash involved a 2015 Chevy pick-up and a 2011 pick-up. No injuries reported.
Aug. 22nd
Deputy was dispatched to North FM 378 regarding a crash that involved a Chevy pick-up and a deer. No injuries reported.
Aug. 25th
Deputy conducted a welfare check on a suspicious vehicle with no current registration or license plate at the road-side park South of Lockney on US Highway 70 that resulted in four arrests. Waylan Bias 34, of Arizona was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Nowana Bias 51, of Arizona arrested for Possession of a controlled substance. Stuart Diets 49, of New Mexico was arrested for Possession of a controlled substance. Nancy Pierce 60, of New Mexico was arrested for Possession of a controlled substance.
Aug. 26th
Deputy was dispatched to a crash West of Lockney on US Highway 70 involving an automobile hitting a deer. No injuries reported.
Aug. 27th
Sheriff Raissez responded to a crash on North FM 378 where a 2019 Chevy Suburban struck a deer that ran out into the roadway. No injuries reported.
Aug. 28th
Sheriff Raissez responded to a crash South of Lockney on US Highway 70 involving a Chevy suburban that struck a deer. No injuries reported.
