LEVELLAND — Two Floydada band students made the top spots in their sections when they auditioned for the Association of Texas Small School Bands All-Region Honor Band last Saturday.
Ethan Jimenez placed first chair on the bass clarinet and Kimberlee Ramirez placed first chair on the alto clarinet.
Both students will get a shot to audition for the Area Honor Band on Jan. 8, with the end goal of placing and performing in the All-State Band later in the winter in San Antonio.
Devin Reyes and Lailah Burks also auditioned for the all-region band in percussion.
