LOCKNEY – Members of the Lockney Elementary 5th grade class spoke to the Lockney Rotary Club Friday afternoon about their class trip to Austin last fall. Six students from the class and English teacher Jennifer King joined Rotary at their weekly meeting at the Lockney Senior Center, telling the group about what they learned in touring the state capitol, Bob Bullock museum and University of Texas campus.
The 5th graders who attended Friday’s meeting where Jordan Mercado, Carter Duniven, Kason Villarreal, Zabrien Castillo, Manny Rubio and Jill Wilson.
The Lockney Rotary Club meets each Friday at noon at the Lockney Senior Center.
