FLOYDADA – Watson Field will be the neutral site of both a 2A and 3A bi-district baseball games this weekend.

Thursday night the Borden County Coyotes will face the Crosbyton Chiefs in game one of a possible 3-game series. The teams will face off Saturday in Lamesa.

On Friday, the Idalou Wildcats (15-5) and the Amarillo River Road Wildcats (14-9) will play their best-of-three series, all at Watson Field.

Idalou is the No. 3 seed from 2-3A behind Shallowater and Abernathy. River Road is the runner-up of 1-2A following Bushland.

The best-of-three series will begin at 6pm Friday. Game 2 will be at 12-noon Saturday, and if needed Game 3 will immediately follow.

Watson Field received a facelift this school year, with the main addition being the installation of artificial turf.
