FLOYDADA, TX – The Floydada Economic Development Corporation (EDC) met in regular session last Thursday to consider two applications for business improvements.
The board unanimously approved cash incentives – up to $5000 each – for both Silos BBQ (at the corner of 2nd and California Streets) and Script Printing and Office Supply (downtown on Main Street).
For Silos, owner Rachel Ramirez says the investment will help rework the driveway.
Longtime Script owner, Bobby Gilliland, requested the funds to improve the awning and brick in the front of the store.
