FLOYDADA, TX – The Lady Winds were matched up against the Roosevelt Lady Eagles on Tuesday.
Floydada started the game slow, only posting 6 points total in the first quarter, however, they found their groove and finished the half up 19-16.
The Lady Winds’ defense was too much for the Lady Eagles, as Roosevelt was only able to score 11 points in the whole second half.
The Lady Winds take the win 40–27 and will prepare for the New Home tournament that takes place December 1–3.
The Floydada JV girls lost 25-22 to Roosevelt’s JV.
