LOCKNEY, TX – The Lockney Longhorns (0-2) were back in action on Tuesday night against the Muleshoe Mules in a non-district matchup.
The Longhorns kept the game close in the first half as the teams went to the locker room for halftime with Muleshoe leading, 22-21.
Lockney’s senior Johnathan Cienfuegos had a game-high 19 points and 4 rebounds; however, the Longhorns struggled to generate any other offensive opportunities and would fall to the Mules 63-36.
The Lockney Longhorns will participate in the Tahoka Tournament that takes place December 1–3, with their first matchup against Forsan.
