FLOYDADA, TX – The FLIP FM Softball Tournament was held in Floydada on March 2–4, with a total of ten teams participating.
Pools A and B separated the teams into groups of five and would give each team four games in pool play.
Pool A had Muleshoe, Snyder, Crosbyton, Lubbock Christian High School, and Tulia.
Pool B had Floydada, Palo Duro, Littlefield, Seagraves, and Post.
Floydada went 3-1 in their pool play as they beat Seagraves 21-1, Palo Duro 12-0, and Post 18-1.
Their loss was at the hands of Littlefield, 4-3.
In their third place game on Saturday, the Lady Winds were matched up against the Lubbock Christian Lady Eagles and were victorious 12-9, giving Floydada a 4-1 record in the tournament and a third place finish.
