FLOYDADA, TX – Floydada Collegiate High School’s National Honor Society added eleven additional members on Monday night.

The students signed their names into the official registry of the A.E. Baker chapter of the National Honor Society as part of their induction ceremonies at the FCHS auditorium.

The biographies were read as each was tapped with a sword before being presented with their NHS pin, a rose, and the NHS collar they will wear at graduation.

Current members of the chapter from the Junior and Senior classes then joined the new inductees on stage to recite the National Honor Society pledge of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. A reception for the new members followed.
