Nick Mojica Muniz, 83, of Lockney, Texas, passed away Friday, April 14, 2023. Private services will be held at a later date.
Nick was a kindhearted, quiet man who was an avid fan of 50’s and 60’s culture, many genres of music, and all things Texas.
His biggest love was for animals. Many were the cats and dogs rescued/adopted to be members of the Muniz family. He was Dad or Paw Paw to all of his pets.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Elvira Muniz, and his parents, Francisco and Alejandra Muniz.
He is survived by his son, Nick Muniz, Jr of Lockney, Texas; one brother, Francisco Muniz and wife Ester of Petersburg, Texas; three sisters, Ofelia Hernandez of Plainview, Texas, Dora Sanchez of Benavides, Texas, and Alex Raissez of Lubbock, Texas.
