Floyd County’s Adams, Hernandez, Trevino, and Thiebaud Graduate

FLOYD COUNTY, TX – Four students from Lockney and Floydada recently received diplomas.

Maykala Sky Hernandez of Lockney graduated from Texas Tech University on May 12, 2023, with a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Astrophysics. She plans to continue her studies at Texas Tech to pursue a graduate degree in astronomy or astrophysics.

Triana Kay Adams is a 2019 graduate of Floydada High School and walked the stage at Texas College of Cosmetology on May 2, 2023. After completing her state board exams, she will utilize her training (cosmetologist) at The Wild Hare in Floydada.

Jonah Patrick Trevino is also a 2019 graduate of FHS and was presented with an Associate of Applied Sciences with a major in Computer Information Systems. He donned the cap and gown on Friday, May 12, 2023, at South Plains College in Levelland.

KayCee Thiebaud of Lockney received a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from Wayland Baptist University.
