FLOYDADA, TX – Two familiar faces are taking new leadership roles within Floydada Collegiate ISD.
J.R. Compton will be entering his third year as head football coach for the Whirlwinds but has also added the duties of Athletic Director following the retirement of Todd Bandy.
Jennifer Emert has been a science teacher at the High School but recently accepted a transfer to A.B. Duncan Elementary, where she’ll serve as an assistant principal, filling the role of Robin Nixon, who also retired at the end of the 2022-2023 school year.
