
FLOYD COUNTY, TX – Floyd County will have strong representation in tonight’s Greater West Texas Softball Coaches Association (GWTSCA) All-Star Game, scheduled for 5:00 p.m. Friday, June 5, at Frenship High School.
Floydada’s Alli Hernandez was selected to participate in the All-Star event, while Lockney’s Emma Nelson and Madison Marmolejo will also take the field among the region’s standout senior softball players.
The annual GWTSCA All-Star Game brings together top athletes from across West Texas and serves as a showcase of the talent and accomplishments of graduating players from the area.
For Floyd County, having three athletes selected highlights the strength of local softball programs and the impact these players have made throughout their high school careers.
First pitch is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. at Frenship High School on Friday evening. Local fans, family members, and supporters are expected to make the trip to watch the Floyd County athletes represent their schools and communities on the All-Star stage.
