LOCKNEY, TX – The Lockney Longhorns Athletic Department is inviting area students entering third through sixth grade to participate in its free Community Camp on Friday, July 24.
The camp will be led by Lockney High School athletes and is designed to give younger students an opportunity to build skills, stay active, and connect with Longhorn athletics in a fun and encouraging environment.
Football activities will take place from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the football field, followed by basketball activities from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the high school gym.
Longhorn merchandise and refreshments will be available for purchase during the event, and donations to the Athletic Booster Club fundraiser will also be accepted. Community members who would like to contribute can make a donation through any Lockney High School athlete to help support current and future Longhorns.
Organizers encourage families to spread the word and bring all students in grades 3-6 out for a morning of fun, learning, and Longhorn pride. Go Longhorns!
