FLOYDADA, TX – The City of Floydada is accepting applications for a short-term laborer position with the Street Maintenance and Sanitation Departments.
The position will be approximately 37 hours per week and is expected to last between two and four months. Pay will be based on the applicant’s qualifications and experience, with the position offering up to $14.60 per hour.
Experience operating heavy machinery is preferred but is not required for the position.
Applications are available at Floydada City Hall and will be accepted until the position is filled.

The position provides an opportunity for a temporary employee to assist the City of Floydada with important street maintenance and sanitation operations while gaining hands-on experience in municipal work.
