Floydada – Luz A. Hernandez was born on November 1, 1952 in Ralls, Texas, and passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 73. She is survived by her children, Norma Gutierrez of Floydada, TX, Raymundo Martinez Jr. of Floydada, TX; sister, Rosa Medders from San Antonio, TX; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and her precious dog, Hazel. Luz was preceded in death by her parents, Apolonio and Delores Hernandez; brothers, Lorenzo Hernandez, Tomas Hernandez and Santos Hernandez and sisters,Norberta Flores and Andela Ramirez. She loved spending quality time with her family and enjoyed the friends she has made over the years. She also enjoyed spending time “Thrifting”. Luz will be greatly missed by all her family and so many wonderful friends. “We will love you every day of our lives.”
