FLOYDADA — The UIL requires all high school and junior high athletes and marching band participants — boys and girls — to have a physical examination conducted prior to start of competing in a sport for 2021-22, according to Floydada Collegiate ISD Athletic Director Todd Bandy.
FCISD has arranged for physicals to be conducted free of charge for all female Floydada athletes and marching band members on Wednesday, July 21, followed by male Whirlwinds on Thursday, July 22. The physicals will be conducted at Covenant West Texas Family Medicine of Floydada, located at the Cogdell Clinic from 1 to 5 p.m. each day. No appointment is required.
Lockney athletes and band members will be able to obtain a physical at the Cogdell Clinic in Lockney for $25 through Friday, July 16.
