LOCKNEY — The Lockney City Council will meet Tuesday morning and will consider a contract for IT services, a lease/purchase of law enforcement software, and discuss a Attorney General settlement.

The proposed contract with Yellow City IT would provide computer services and fiber internet to the city at a cost of $1,529 per month, with a one-time fee of $10,647.09.

The council will also discuss a software agreement with Axon for law enforcement for Axon Records, a reporing program.

They will hear about and potentially adopt a resolution regarding funds from a recent opioid settlement from the Texas Attorney General.

The council will also consider an interlocal agreement with Floyd County Sheriff’s Office and discuss a new SCADA system.
