Wanda Wynell Hinsley, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at the Beehive Assisted Living Facility in Floydada. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 23, 2021, at the Floyd County Memorial Park in Floydada. Arrangements are under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada.
Wynell was born March 14, 1932,
in Fort Worth, Texas to Harry M. Huddle and Dorothy Ruth Greene. She moved to Floydada in 1947 and met and married the love of her life, Lonnie B. Hinsley, who preceded her in death. Loving and taking care of her family was what gave Wynell’s life meaning and joy. She was a member of the City Park Church of Christ in Floydada.
Wynell is survived by her four children, Michael Hinsley of Floydada, Teresa Beatty and her husband Rex of Ruidoso, Kim Hinsley and his wife Sarah of Floydada, and Kathy Day of Lubbock. She is also survived by 10 grandkids, 18 great-grandkids, and 2 great-great grandkids.
