LOCKNEY — The Lockney Chamber of Commerce hosted a very special VIP guest at its Downtown Christmas celebration Saturday night.
Santa Claus made an appearance and heard Christmas wishes from the community’s youth. Carriage rides up and down Main Street were also a staple of the event.
Community members sang carols adjacent to Santa’s chair in the Garden Gate area downtown, and in addition, the city’s various downtown small businesses were open for shopping.
