MUNCY — The 2022 Floyd County Livestock Show is on the horizon, and a tentative full schedule for the Jan. 13-15 event at the Unity Center is now available.

Cattle and rabbits take center stage on Thursday, Jan. 13. The barn opens at 10 that morning with cattle weigh-in taking place from 1 to 3 p.m. The beef and dairy cattle show kicks things off at 5 that evening, with the rabbit show immediately following.

The barn opens at 9 a.m. Friday, Jan. 14. Lambs, goats and swine will weigh in from 1 to 4 that afternoon.

Show ring action resumes at 8 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 15 with the gilt show followed by the barrow show. The event will break for lunch around noon, then after lunch the goat show will take place, followed by the lamb show.

The buyer’s meal is at 5 p.m. Saturday and the premium sale takes place after that, around 6.

All participating students are required to help clean up the Unity Center on Sunday, Jan. 16 at 2 p.m.
