LOCKNEY – Members of First Baptist Church of Lockney will soon gather a deeper appreciation for the old testament book of Jeremiah through an object lesson. Jeremiah 18:6 says in part “Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand.” On Sunday, worship leader Ron Kuykendall will use his hands to spread the good news of the ‘Master Potter’ while also spreading clay.
In addition to his work with the church, Kuykendall is also an avid potter and has made many decorative and useful pieces for the community. “He shares his products in many area events,” says FBC Lockney Senior Pastor Joseph Tillery. “From simple cups to extensive platters and amazing bowls, his productions adorn many homes and are valued treasures.”
