Linda Jane Taylor, 80 year old Buffalo, Wyoming resident, was born on September 11, 1941 in Floydada, Texas to Arthur and Ruth Cooper. She grew up in Muleshoe, Texas then attended McMurry College in Abilene, Texas graduating in 1963 with a Bachelor of Science and also qualifying as a Medical Technologist with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. She met her lifetime partner at McMurry and in August of 1961 she became Mrs. Lamar Taylor.
Linda worked as a Medical Technologist and as a school teacher of Health & Earth Science to 7th & 8th graders. When she wasn’t working she was always involved with her family and church; hosting a never ending stream of family & church gatherings, sewing, reading, camping and just living and loving life.
During her life, Linda lived in multiple places including Texas, New Mexico, Idaho, Montana, California, Oregon, Korea, Colorado and lastly moving to Buffalo, WY the summer of 2018. After the kids left home, she attended L.I.F.E Bible College in Los Angeles, California receiving her Bachelor of Theology degree and Certificate of Ordination from the Church of the Foursquare Gospel.
She is survived by her husband Lamar Taylor of Buffalo; her daughter Lisa Donnelly of Beaverton, Oregon; her son Russ Taylor and his wife Bev of Buffalo; a brother Harold Cooper and his wife Joanna of Columbia, Maryland; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and one brother.
