Girls All-District 4-2A Basketball team released

FLOYD COUNTY – The Floydada Lady Winds and Lockney Lady Horns both had successful campaigns in girls basketball in 2021-22, and their efforts were recognized by the District 4-2A coaches on the All-District team just released.

Floydada (19-9) shared the District Championship with the Hale Center Lady Owls (19-12). Lockney (24-9) was the only district member to win their Bi-District game by beating the Vega Lady Horns 58-50 in overtime. The Lady Horns season ended at the Area round by falling to the No. 9 rated Panhandle Ettes.
