LOCKNEY – The Lockney Lady Horns (4-0) protected their home field this past weekend by winning three games to win the championship of the Jesse L. Garza Lady Horns Softball Tournament.
Lockney won two games on Thursday over the Crosbyton Chiefettes 13-1 and the Memphis Lady Cyclones 17-13. On Saturday, the Lady Horns outscored the Post Lady Lopes 16-14 to complete the title run.
Karen Trenado was the winning pitcher of all three of the Lockney games.
