Mary Louise (Newberry) Woody (Amarillo)
Mary Louise (Newberry) Woody, formerly of Floydada, passed away on March 7, 2022, at the age of 83.
Mary was born to Charles Homer and Thelma Newberry on September 25, 1938, in Lubbock, Tx. She lived her childhood in Floydada, Tx. She met and married Nathan Woody on August 27, 1959, in Floydada, Tx. They lived in Floydada, Tx, and Tulia, Tx before moving to Amarillo, Tx in 1973. She was an antiques and collectibles dealer in Amarillo for 25 years.
Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Newberry (1991); her father, Charles Homer Newberry (1995); and her husband, Nathan Woody (2004).
Mary is survived by her son, Jeffrey Alan Woody of Fort Worth, Tx; daughter, Nathalie Ann Clatworthy, and husband, Michael of Valle De Oro, Tx; son, Joel Kevin Woody of Amarillo, Tx; grandson, Nicholas Dean Bailey of Amarillo, Tx; and granddaughter, Michaela Dawn Lee, and husband, Jacob of Grand Junction, Co.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at a later date.
