Francisca "Panchita" Trevino (Floydada)
Francisca Deleon Trevino, age 85, passed away on April 23, 2022, at her home with her daughter, Yolanda Vela, and her grandson, Cesar Garcia, by her side. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Floydada. Interment will follow at the Floydada Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 26, 2022, in the Moore-Rose Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada.
Francisca was born on May 17, 1936, to Ramon and Guadalupe (Bielmas) Deleon. She loved to mow her own grass and would not let anyone help her. She also loved gardening. Mom and Dad helped a lot of people in need, their doors were always open and there was always food on the table, no matter the time. Francisca taught her older children how to drive but yet she never got behind the wheel to drive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ramon and Guadalupe Deleon; her husband, Rodolfo Trevino; one brother, Federico Deleon; and one sister, Abelina Flores.
Francisca is survived by her 8 children; Loreto Trevino and late wife Irene (Plainview), Licha Rea and husband Jose (Floydada), Yolanda Vela and husband Jesus Jr. (Floydada), Rodolfo Trevino Jr. (Corpus Christi), Tomas Trevino (Floydada), Elisabet Garza and husband Oscar Jr. (Floydada), Ramon Trevino and wife Lisa (Corpus Christi), Guadalupe Trevino and wife Laura (Corpus Christi); 25 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
