The following statement was released Friday afternoon by Lockney ISD
LOCKNEY – Jonathan Thiebaud is set to take the reins as Lockney ISD Athletic Director as Ryan McCallister vacates the position to remain in Idalou.
This will be Coach Thiebaud’s second year in Lockney and his first athletic director’s position. He is finishing his fifteenth year in education and was the defensive coordinator for the Lockney Longhorns last season, one of the leading take away defenses on the South Plains.
Jonathan and his wife KayCee have two children in Lockney ISD. Dyllan is a freshman at Lockney High School and Anna is in the fourth grade at Lockney Elementary.
We look forward to watching Coach Thiebaud and his staff continue to raise the bar for Lockney Football and Lockney Athletics.
