UPDATE – Due to the risk of thunderstorms this evening, the movie has been moved indoors to Lockney Elementary School’s cafeteria at 8:00 p.m.
The following is a note from the district:
LOCKNEY – It’s ‘take two’ for Lockney ISD’s Movie in the Park, and they’re hoping nobody is saying “You’re killing me Smalls!” again after having some technical difficulties in trying to show the movie last week.
Tonight, the school will be showing the 1992 classic “The Sandlot” at the Longhorns’ baseball field at Spruce & SE 6th.
Gates open at 8:00 p.m. and the movie will start at sundown. No food or drinks other than water will be allowed on the field.
