FLOYDADA – Three consecutive Thursday nights of June experienced some competitive 7-on-7 football games between Floydada, Lockney, and Ralls at Charles Tyer Stadium.
The Ralls Jackrabbits held a slight advantage of going 4-2 of playing two games per night. The biggest margin was just nine points in the 12-games played, that game was on opening night when the Lockney Longhorns defeated the Jackrabbits 15-6.
These three teams will play each other in their upcoming 2022 football schedule. Floydada Whirlwinds will open the season at Ralls, followed by hosting Lockney in the traditional Floyd County Championship game on week two at Charles Tyer Stadium. The Jackrabbits and Longhorns will play each other in a 3-2A-II game at Ralls in October.
