FCHS names homecoming queen candidates

FLOYDADA – Floydada’s homecoming, once a celebration held every four years, is back this fall for the second consecutive year. On Tuesday morning Floydada Collegiate High School named the five candidates for this year’s Homecoming Queen.

The five are Natalie Contreras, Kaley Garza, Tatum Glasscock, Faith Lopez and Clarissa Ramos. The queen will be named during halftime of the game against the Smyer Bobcats on September 9 at Charles Tyer Stadium.

In addition to the game and surrounding festivities Friday night, a Homecoming Parade will be held on Tuesday, September 6 at 7:30 p.m. That event, hosted by the Floydada Whilrwind Booster Club, will also feature a pep rally at the Floyd County Courthouse Square. Entries for the  parade are still being accepted at the number listed in the photo below:
