FLOYDADA – Due to the request for extra security, fans of both the Floydada Whirlwinds and Lockney Longhorns will be required to pass through metal detectors upon entering Charles Tyler Stadium Friday night for the 100th playing of the Floyd County Championship.

The school districts have also requested additional law enforcement presence for the matchup.

Fans have been asked to stay on their respective sides of the field for the game, and both schools have warned students and parents poor sportsmanship will not be tolerated, with fans being removed from the stadium if necessary.

The Floyd County Championship will kick off at 7:00 p.m. Fans can listen to the game right here at FloydCountyRecord.com and on 106.1 FLiP FM.
