LOCKNEY, TX – Lockney (2-4) has a home-field advantage against the Sudan Hornets (5-1) on Friday as the two teams prepare for their second week of district play.

The Longhorns battled Crosbyton last week in their district opener, where they came from behind and won the game in the fourth quarter for a final score of 26-21.

For their first game of district play, the Hornets took care of Hale Center 26-6 in Sudan.

This will be the first time the two teams have met in district play, and both teams will look to secure their spot on Friday on top of the 2-2A Region I District 3 standings.
