The Lockney Longhorns junior high team played the Ralls Jackrabbits Thursday night in a district game.
The two teams competed in a close game; however, the Jackrabbits came out victorious 16-14.
The Longhorns look forward to their next district opponent in Hale Center and will take on the Owls next Thursday.
