Floydada’s junior high team kept the game close until late in the 4th quarter, where costly turnovers would ultimately knock the Winds out of the game and lose 42-14.
It was a tough night for the JV squad as no production on offense and no answer for the Bulldogs proved too challenging for the Whirlwinds as they were defeated 40-0.
Both teams will try and readjust for next week as they take on Post next Thursday.
