LORENZO, TX – On Tuesday night, Floydada traveled to Lorenzo to play in a non-district game.
The Lady Winds (2-2) were in a close game all night with the Hornets (2-1) but were unable to seal the deal and fell 45-43.
Floydada struggled from the free throw line as they went 44% from the line, shooting 11-25.
The Lady Winds were led by juniors Zay Santos, who had 11 points, and Sierra Snowden, with 8 points.
The Lady Winds will look ahead to their next matchup on Friday as they travel to Tulia.
