NEW DEAL, TX – The Lady Horns (14-5, 1-1) traveled to New Deal to battle the Lady Lions (9-6, 1-1) in their second district game.
The Lady Horns battled closely with New Deal and found themselves down only one at the half as the Lady Lions led 25-24.
The third quarter was the pivotal point for Lockney, as they would go on a run to take the lead, 43-33.
The Lady Horns were able to maintain their lead in the final quarter and win their first district game of the year to now improve to 1-1 in district play.
Adriana Villarreal was the leading scorer with 30 points in the Lady Horns’ victory.
