HALE CENTER, TX – The Lockney Lady Horns (16-8, 3-3) traveled to play the Hale Center Lady Owls (19-6, 5-1) in district action on Friday.
The game started with both teams tied at 11 at the end of the first quarter.
The Lady Owls had the lead at the half with a score of 21-17.
Lockney brought the lead down to only three at the end of the third quarter as they trailed 30-27.
The fourth quarter was the turning point for the Lady Horns, however, as they managed to put a game high 23 points up in the fourth quarter to win the game over the Lady Owls 50-41.
The Lady Horns currently sit in fifth place in the district with a 4-3 record.
