RALLS, TX – The Floydada Lady Winds (17-11, 8-5) played the Ralls Lady Rabbits (6-20, 1-12) on Friday in a district game.
The Lady Winds were able to jump out to an early lead against the Lady Rabbits, as they had a 17-9 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Floydada’s defense held the Lady Rabbits to only 1 point in the second quarter and was able to extend their lead to 26-10.
In the third quarter, the Lady Winds scored a game-high 18 points to go up 44-21.
The Lady Winds defense came up big in the fourth quarter once again as they held Ralls to only two points and would be victorious, 61-23.
Lady Winds’ junior Sierra Snowden led the team in scoring with 12 points and 9 rebounds in the district win on Friday.
