RALLS, TX – The #14-ranked Floydada Whirlwinds (28-5, 10-1) traveled to play the Ralls Jackrabbits (4-22, 2-9) in district play on Friday.
From the opening tip, the Whirlwinds were able to take complete control of the game and take a 38-18 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Floydada extended their lead in the second quarter, leading Ralls 68-38.
The Whirlwinds would score 35 points in the third quarter and further extend their lead 103-53.
The Winds were able to complete the victory in the fourth quarter and were victorious over the Jackrabbits, 132–67.
Floydada’s senior Abran Castillo put up a game high 32 points in the Whirlwinds’ victory on Friday.
