WOLFFORTH, TX – The Floydada Lady Winds (19-11, 9-5) played the Olton Fillies (13-18, 9-5) in a playoff seeding game on Thursday night.
The Fillies were able to jump out to an early lead and held the Lady Winds to just five points in the first quarter as Olton led 19-5.
In the second quarter, the Lady Winds were able to find more offense, but still trailed going into halftime, 32-18.
The second half appeared to be a different game, as the Lady Winds went on an 18-8 run in the third quarter to cut Olton’s lead to four points.
In the fourth quarter, Floydada once again was able to hold Olton to single digits and pull off the comeback to win the game 53-48.
Floydada’s junior Zay Santos led the Lady Winds in scoring with 17 points in the win on Thursday.
