PANHANDLE, TX – The 2023 2A Area Track & Field Championships took place on Friday, April 14, in Panhandle.
The Floydada track team had several members participate and advance to the regional meet.
The following athletes will be advancing to the regional meet:
Kirsten Pyle placed 3rd in pole vault.
Natalie Contrereas placed 4th in the 300 meter hurdles.
Jayson Cooper placed 1st in triple jump.
Jacinto Santos placed 2nd in long jump.
Iziah Alvarado placed 2nd in the 400 meter run.
The boys 4×400 Meter Relay will be advancing.
The boys 4×200 Meter Relay will be advancing.
