Lynn Ray Smith (Lockney)
Lynn Ray Smith, age 89, of Lockney, passed away on Saturday, May 13th, 2023. A memorial will be held at the West College & 3rd Church of Christ in Lockney on Friday, May 19th, 2023, at 11:00 am.
Lynn Ray was born on June 17th, 1933. Lynn Ray preached for over 30 years and worked in and around the farming industry for most of his life. Lynn Ray enjoyed spending time with his family and was married to his wife, Wanda, for over 70 years. Both Lynn Ray and Wanda were devoted members of the Church of Christ.
Those left to cherish Lynn’s wonderful memory are his daughter, Becky Knowles; son, Garry Smith; his three grandsons, Michael Knowles, Brandon Knowles, and Shannon Bailey; his two granddaughters, Mandy Jones and Kelly Winegeart; and ten great-grandchildren.
