FLOYDADA, TX – “I will forever be grateful for her mentorship and advice that has helped me build my business into what it is today,” says Lindsey De Leon, owner of Twenty•One Beauty Salon & Barbershop, the Floydada Chamber’s Business of the Month (May 2023).
The Floydada native explains that she has been a licensed cosmetologist for six years, and for the “first five years, I worked alongside Leigh Smith at Hair by Leigh.”
That experience helped De Leon design the business that could bring the luxury of a big city salon to a small community.
“We looked to create a welcoming atmosphere for all members of our community while offering an escape from the daily grind,” she adds. “I’m blessed to work alongside talented individuals who are ambitious and passionate about their craft.”
Those individuals include barber Bri Castro and aesthetician Destinee Martinez, who helps to offer a full-service salon experience with cuts, colors, perms, shaves, waxing, extensions, and facials.
“It has always been a dream of mine to own a salon, and I’m blessed to be living that dream,” De Leon reports. “I am forever grateful for my family, friends, and clients.”
Twenty•One Salon & Barbershop is open Tuesday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, and Saturdays by appointment, and walk-ins are always welcome.
