LUBBOCK, TX – The Floydada Whirlwinds Cross Country team traveled to Lubbock on Monday for the district meet.
These schools represented 2A District 4: Floydada, Hale Center, Lockney, New Deal, Olton, Ralls, Smyer, and Sudan.
The Whirlwinds were able to finish the meet and qualify for a spot at regionals.
Floydada’s James Zepeda placed sixth individually at the meet to qualify for regionals.

The regional meet will take place in Lubbock on Tuesday, October 24th, with the Whirlwinds set to run at 10:30 a.m.
