CANYON, TX – After a quick practice session at a real radio station, three Floydada FFA members took their skills to competition at the Area I FFA Contest.
Noe De Los Santos, Carisa Fernandez, and Reese Hinsley represented the local FFA chapter in Radio Broadcasting.
The event features a team of three members presenting an informative radio program covering one or more agricultural subjects that are current in nature and local in content, assuming that the chapter has a regularly scheduled non-commercial radio program once each month over a local station.
The team talked about turfgrass and finished sixth earlier this month in the contest, where the top two teams advanced to State.
