LOCKNEY, TX – The Lockney Lady Horns were in action on Friday night as they hosted the New Deal Lady Lions.
Both teams started slowly offensively to start the game, but New Deal had the lead 12-3 at the end of the first quarter.
A big second quarter from the Lady Lions helped extend their lead 33-7 going into halftime.
Lockney tried to make a run in the second half but would fall short to New Deal 52-24.
The Lady Horns were led in scoring by Tylee Benton who had 8 points.
Also contributing to the Lockney offense was Nadia Perez and Abery Ascencio who both had seven points each.
Lockney moves to 0-2 in district play and will travel to Smyer on Tuesday.
