LOCKNEY, TX The Lockney Longhorns hosted the New Deal Lions in the final game of the district schedule on Tuesday night.
The Lions were able to start the game with a 25-10 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Lockney fought back in the second quarter but still trailed 47-27 going into halftime.
Although the Longhorns outscored the Lions in the second half (32-19), Lockney would fall 66-59.
Lockney was led in scoring by Nathan Hernandez with 26 points and 4 rebounds.
