FLOYDADA, TX – Harvey and Martha Garza will once again manage the city pool this season following unanimous approval by the City Council on Tuesday.
The meeting, originally scheduled to be held a week early, found attendance by all but two council members.
Ryan Crowe, Executive Director of the Floydada Economic Development Corporation, addressed the council regarding funding from the South Plains Association of Governments (SPAG) to return Senior Citizen meals within the city.
Marciela Reyna, a concerned citizen, also addressed the council regarding a drive-by shooting and vandalism to her property, but no action was taken.
The Council will reconvene on March 26, 2024.
