LOCKNEY, TX – The Lockney Lady Horns hosted the New Deal Lady Lions on Tuesday in their district opener.
New Deal began the game with a nine run first inning to go ahead 9-0.
The Lady Horns struck back in the bottom of the second inning, scoring six runs.
Lockney’s offense tried to fight back in the bottom of the fourth inning with five runs to cut the lead down 15-11.
New Deal was able to extend their lead in the final innings of the game and secured the victory 23-16.
